instead of going to a store I decided to buy this low priced deal on 100 discs and it is awesome! i agree with everyone else that they could have shipped it better (the bottom piece of the plastic container was cracked). all in all, i got a good deal on good discs

I do not even shop around anymore for my blank 4.7 DVD’s. The price for the Verbatim 16X Single-sided blanks cannot be beat and the quality has been perfect to date. I have learned with all of my blank media to set the record speed a bit lower than what is advertised and so it may take a few extra seconds to complete a project, but I can honestly say that I have never had a bad burn with the Verbatim discs. I have no idea why they are so inexpensive compared to other similar products, but at this point I just enjoy the savings and burn my projects with total confidence.

Are you kidding me with some of these reviews? Your mad because you have to buy toner and a drum. Hello McFly! Every laser printer has a drum. Considering the ink usage on an inkjet its still only a fraction of the cost. You should ALWAYS do research on new electronics if you have never used them. Most people would consider this information common sense. This is a fabulous printer!
1 Star Just Buy A New Printer…
It’s simple math folks…the Brother HL-2140 costs $99, but has a drum kit and toner that will wear out. The drum kit costs $75 and the toner $45 (Amazon prices here…at other places it will cost much more).
Once the drum kit is used up, just by a new HL-2140 printer. You’ll get brand new hardware, a new drum, and new toner for a price less than it would cost to replace a drum kit and toner individually.
It’s a pity that the economics of low-end these machines practically makes them disposable, but in this case its true.
3 Stars Was confused with the purpose of drum unit?
I thought that this allowed some how for longer use of toner…turns out that this drum unit is replaceable on the brother laser printer I have and helps toner to print clearer pages. Expected life is approx 12000 pages but is not absolute required to be replaced once life is 0% as indicated on printer’s settings. Expensive for not required and annoying that there is yet something else to replace other than the toner. My HP printer doesn’t have this piece to replace. So, this is basically the piece that you must click your toner/holds toner and slides into the laser printer. Didn’t realize both toner and holder needed to be replaced. Costly….

yeah, they should really more clear. I bought this thing thinking woo, it can print up to 12000 pages, and that it’s a ‘drum’ type of ink cartridge. When I opened it up, I realized oh wait. This is just the ‘container’ of sorts for the actual ‘toner’ cartridge which is required. So essentially brother, has made it so you have to replace two items. Toner when it goes out, and this drum unit, which will go out every time you print up to 12000 pages from the toner. ahh… great description guys. Now I have to return my drum unit, and buy real toner.

I like the Brother-HL-2140 very much. But this whole DR-360 is an amazing scam. My toner on the cheap 1200-page cartridge that ships with the printer ran out yesterday, and I had something that needed to be printed immediately, and though “Oh, good, I had the foresight to buy that 12,000 page replacement cartridge!” So I go to the cupboard and open the box, shocked to find a bare plastic assembly, which as far as I can see is identical to the one already in the printer. But no toner cartridge enclosed, which I now have to buy for another $60 and won’t arrive till tomorrow. I’m shocked at this subterfuge by Brother and its retailers. I would never have bought this printer if I knew about these shenanigans.

4 Stars Should meet my expectations
Purchased headphones for the sole purpose of using on long Skype calls. It replaces a cheap unit with little foam earmuffs. Both the sound and microphone work much better and I am happy with the purchase.

I bought this headset for $44 with free shipping from Amazon, and I received the package before the estimated delivery date.
The headset is very comfortable and it works great. I am playing Need For Speed Most Wanted, Doom 3, Prince of Persia 2008, Quake 3, and the performance justifies the price.
Also, to the people who complain about the picture of Fatal1ty on the box, quite honestly, that’s a whole lot of nitpicking. I thought the package was very slick (not that it really matters).
Voice chat works great, and I have no complaints about this product. Of course, this is not a high end product, so don’t expect too much. Having said that, I love these headphones and I recommend them.

I just sent back my 2nd headset in 2 months! The microphone on both broke. Very poorly made. Very dissatisfied.

the quality is pretty good for the price. I bought mine in mid October and the microphone has already stopped working. I cannot seem to be able to find a replacement. Since the microphone is detachable I thought it would be easily replaceable.

5 Stars These things are Great!
If you are sick of those nasty little earphones that Apple sends, and you want to drown out all the noise around you, these are key! Great sound from all frequencies although the bass is amazing from such little phones. Give them a shot, and order from Amazon, because they are [...] bucks or more in retail stores. I had the SE110′s and they had no bass at all. Shure definately made some improvements on this model.
4 Stars Excellent Sound, Great Isolation
I’ve been using these for a couple of weeks now and they are way better than any other one that I have used before. In addition, they are great at isolating the sound. I use the foam earbuds and they are almost as good as real earplugs at removing environmental sound. Sometimes I would have them in without even any music on just to cut down office noise. I am much more productive without distractions. I’ve listened to music (lossless compressed) and podcasts (mostly spoken word) and I am hearing things that I never heard before, for better, or worse (podcast recording quality – sometimes you can hear them breathing!)
Using them currently with the T-Mobile G1 Stereo 3.5mm Audio Converter w/ microphone on my G1. The short initial cord on these works well with the converter because I don’t need to wrap up a bunch of cable, but I can still use the extension cord when I need to listen at my laptop or desktop.
5 Stars Great ear phones, might not be a good fit for everyone
Great sound, but it requires that you get a good fit. The rubber fittings don’t work too well for me, so I have to use the foam fittings (comes with both in three sizes each). If piece doesn’t fit snugly in your ear then the sound will actually be quite poor, but with a good fit it’s impressive — amazing sound isolation, clarity and frequency range for the price. Granted they are not as good as studio headphones/earbuds, but they’re a fraction of the price and get the job done.
I use them when I exercise and as long as I get a snug fit at the beginning of my exercise, they stay in and sound great for the duration.

I was looking for something to keep a collection of all United States quarters in that was not as bulky as the huge US map with spots for coins that my husband bought the kids several years ago. This was perfect. The coins were easy to insert and none fell out; the holes were a perfect size. And it fits nicely into a nightstand.

This was exactly what I had hoped to find for a friend who is an avid coin collector. He was thrilled to have received this and within a few days after Christmas, went to work and placed all of the quarters that he had into the books with ease.

4 Stars Nice book if you want all 100 quarters
The book has 4 pages to hold the quarters, 2 pages on the left for the P mint and the 2 pages on the right for the Denver mint. There are additional pages listing the states and some facts such as population and size. Another page lists US Presidents through G.W. Bush.
I have seen other books the size of a road atlas with more information that hold 50 quarters, good if you don’t care about the mints.

Only one speaker works and the item is too large to return so I’m stuck with a bad purchase. It’s hooked up to my PC and I was hoping the sounding settings on my computer were causing the imbalance in sound but, sadly no, its the poorly crafted speakers.
1 Star system died after 6 months
sound was pretty darn good, was using it at work, to play my ipod, and enjoying the hell out of it.
but, tragically the system died after 6 months of use. I think it was the amp or power supply, but-
Woe is me, it’s out of warranty. 
so I’m looking around Amazon for a replacement,

5 Stars BEST SPEAKERS EVER!!
I bought these speakers because I had other speakers that were very low and cheap. Ok, let me get to the point. This speaker has beautiful sound and bass. This speaker is great for any mp3/ipod player that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. You can use these speakers for your computer too. I never had problems with these speakers. Great item for the price. Very loud (for me) and i really recommend it.
Pros: Loud, good sound quality, good bass
Cons: Nothing.
I really recommended this and its worth the price! (bought it for $25 in ebay)

This is exactly what I expected. The speaker sound quality is decent and doesn’t distort much at all even at higher volume. Of course it’s not going to be like a pair of Bose, but for a back yard sound system, it’s perfect.

For the money, this is pretty darn good.
I’m happy with what I paid and as an audio engineer, that’s not something easily accomplished. I’m fairly picky with the equipment I buy, but I needed a somewhat portable set of speakers for my iPod and Macbook, something under $30, that can fill a 10′x10′ room. This system fits the bill.
This is *NOT* a stereo or bookshelf system, it’s just a set of speakers! Keep that in mind when you go to buy it.
Plug and play, but be sure to fiddle around with the volume and bass knobs on the back of the woofer (go with mid level setting first), then go to your EQ settings on your iPod, laptop, etc. Taking advantage of EQ presets or your own presets will give you the best from this little gem.
I really do suggest making a few customized EQ settings in iTunes (or whichever program you use) for this speaker set. You will get more out of it that way.
This is not a heavy, bass boost, butt kicking system… if you want that, shell out the $200+ for a bookshelf system with a huge subwoofer, because it’s not going to come from this speaker set. This set is good for filling small rooms and possibly a bit more. It has a nice sound and does resonate the bass and low end rather well when the right EQ is used.
It looks good to boot.
Very nice little speaker set.

5 Stars Works well with Early 2009 Mac mini
I upgraded my 2009 Mini from 1GB to 4GB.
With 1GB, the mini would max out on memory if there were multiple users logged each with a few apps running. With 4GB, that bottle neck is gone.
After the upgrade, the shared Video RAM went from 128MB to 256MB. There is a noticeable performance increase with added video ram…iTunes visualizer and video playback are smoother.
There’s a video on YouTube that shows how to disassemble the mini (search “Mac mini (Early 2009) Memory Upgrade”), the upgrade took me about 30 minutes because I was very ginger with opening the case and removing the antennas.

Two days after I bought my new Mac Mini, I found in amazon this great memory a great price. After installing the memory it works great, the basic memory was 1GB, now I have a faster 4GB DDR3 in my new computer. Iphoto runs great and fast, all the computer will fast now. The shared Video RAM went from 128MB to 256MB, you will see the difference when you upgrade the RAM memory. This is an essential upgrade for your New Mac Mini.

I bought this memory for my new Al unibody macbook. I originally bought the bottom line with 2Ghz processor and 2 gigs of RAM. However, once I started using Parallels, I found that 2 gigs was no longer enough to effectively support both operating systems simultaneously (Mac OS X and Windows XP). I bought this memory partially with a gift card, so I spent a total of less than $40 for 4 gigs of ram. Now, my macbook can run Parallels all the time without a hiccup. I leave it running in coherence mode and I barely notice any lag at all with OS X or XP.

It is connected directly to my Onkyo home theater system and works beautifully with my Sony Playstation 3 game console and TiVo.
